Manitou Cliff Dwellings

Not far from Colorado Springs is Manitou Springs and the Manitou Cliff Dwellings.  These dwellings, built in the cliff sides and were occupied by the Anistasi Indians about 3,000 years ago.  For some unknown reason, they abandoned the dwellings leaving nothing behind.  We don't know where they went.  It was 90 degrees outside, but around 75 degrees inside.  It was a great visit.
After the cliff dwellings we ate lunch inside a refurbished 1950's era KC-97 airplane.  We had a good lunch and a unique experience.
