We are in Redmond, Oregon at the Deschutes County Fairground. We will use this campground as our base to see Redmond, Bend and Sisters. On our first full day here we visited Bend today and shopped at a beautiful new outdoor mall. Bend is a vibrant city of 80,000 and has a lot of new housing, with new homes, apartments and condos. We got 2 new batteries for our truck and had the 60K checkup at the local Dodge dealer. We then went to Tumalo Falls. After a short walk, we go to this amazing site, a 67 foot waterfall fueled by the snow runoff. Tomorrow its off to Sisters for the Professional Bull Riders rodeo. We'll update you.
